The mission of the Morton Pumpkin Festival is to “Gather & Give Back” while generating resources that allow the Morton Chamber of Commerce to fulfill its mission to strengthen business and enhance community, at a superior level, through the implementation of a unique event that builds a sense of community among the people who live and work in Morton.
Roth Pumpkin Patch
The sprawling Pumpkin Playground is just what kids love! To run and play and just enjoy, well, being kids. And who doesn’t love seeing those smiling, happy faces! At the Roth Pumpkin Patch, we love seeing memories made and families and friends spending some much-needed, quality time together. From fun rides & slides to farmyard friends, pumpkins, and yummy food, we hope your family creates a whole lot of unforgettable memories at the Pumpkin Patch!
Tazewell Art Loop
Celebrate the Arts in Tazewell County on the Tazewell Art Loop, supported by the Morton and Pekin Area Chambers of Commerce and the Delavan community! On the Fourth Friday of each month between April and August you’re invited to have fun and shop local in Morton, Delevan, and Pekin. From 5-8 pm, artists, businesses and organizations will be partnering to create a dynamic shopping and entertainment experience. You’ll find local art, mingle with the artists, view featured exhibits, take in performance demonstrations, hear live music and entertainment, explore local shops and restaurants and so much more.

Idlewood Park
Located in the heart of Morton, Idlewood Park offers a welcoming outdoor space with something for all ages. The park features two covered picnic shelters, grills, several playground areas with swings and slides, a separate play area for younger children, and public restrooms. Idlewood Park is also home to the Morton Pool and the Phil and Barbara Kuhl Fine Arts Pavilion, where the community can enjoy a summer concert series. Convenient parking is available off Greenwood Street as well as near the Morton Pool on Idlewood Street. During June and July, the park also hosts Movies in the Park at dusk.
